Fun game, great job! The art looks great, and it's impressive that you accomplished this in a week. If you're looking for feedback, I'm personally not sure I'll ever get used to the controls. Strafing feels a bit awkward to me because of the ship's rotation and my smooth brain isn't fast enough to figure out which direction I'm going to move. I think I'd probably have preferred secondary fire on M2 as well. I'm embarrassed to admit it took me a long time to understand what the bars at the top were indicating - I thought one was my health and the other was the remaining % of enemies in the wave. I also kinda struggled to tell if there was a win condition, since the enemies seemed to spawn endlessly, but I still had a lot of fun regardless.

Honestly, I totally agree on the controls, I had the same issue when playing it myself and never really got used to it either, I just didn’t have any great idea so far. I considered taking strafing out all together, but not sure if that would maybe make the movement too annoying.
Yeah, so the other bar, the blue one, is like the ships energy and is used when moving, firing etc. but also when its above 80% the ships health regenerates and the fuller it is the faster the secondary ammo is recharged. I wanted to add some sort of strategic element with it but I also realize this is not explained anywhere, I should at least write a little manual somewhere.
As of now the game actually doesnt end, I didn’t quite manage to finish it. There was supoosed to be a boss at the end, which I’ll add some day, but for now the difficulty scales up to a maximum and then spawns the same enemies over and over.
I mostly did this as a little exercise but its encouraging that you had fun playing it. If I find the time I will continue to work on it.
